Bio

Argyle is a Portland, OR based quartet who plays all things that groove.  Funky, Jazzy, Soulful, and always grooving.  

Argyle's adventurous performances stem from roots in soul jazz, hip hop, prog, afrobeat, psychedelic rock and old school funk. 

The group's deeply shared vibe, feel, and swing are the result of years of thoughtful jam-based collaboration.  

Every evening with Argyle is an eclectic, unique experience of musical chemistry.  Alive with a wild beating heart, the meticulously syncopated and ruthlessly disciplined music blends authentic vintage tone with muscular chops.
